Do you have a passion for helping Children? Have you always wanted to do more? The National Council on Education (NCE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education is extending invitation to interested qualified persons to participate in a vital aspect of our schools’ development. Volunteers are being sought to serve on school Boards in the following Educational Regions:

• Region 1  (Kingston and St. Andrew)
• Region 2 (St. Thomas, Portland and St. Mary)

Profile of A Board Member

Volunteers should:

• Have a deep interest in nation building
• Have excellent negotiating, inter-personal and conflict-resolution skills
• Be willing and available to serve
• Be fit and proper persons i.e. should be of sound mind and have not been convicted of an offence under The Offences Against the Person Act, The Child Care and Protection Act, The Sexual Offences Act or an offence of fraud and dishonesty.
